However, Battle does feature various improvements to some of these same areas and content updates like the expansion of multiplayer modes and Kart stuff. Unfortunately this is not as well documented, nor it it as simple to correct with mods. This affects some levels and in particular the cutscenes in various yet subtle ways for the worse. ![]() Battle notably breaks the lighting, so many effects, exaggerates audio issues etc. I also feel many played Battle first due to it being later in the DC's cycle and the GC version coming out so quickly. If you are running Linux, BSD, Solaris or Mac OS X, Wine will run most of the older Windows based software (and DOSBox).SA2 Battle has many issues that are not immediately apparent, unlike SADX. Some titles may *mostly* work by simply configuring them to use a compatibility mode. Most Windows titles will need to be run through Windows Virtual PC under the appropriate version of Windows for full functionality. You can find an easy to follow DOSBox tutorial here. For DOS titles you will need to use DOSBox. The majority of these games will not run correctly on modern operating systems.
